Itinerary

Depart Nairobi on the 45-minute scheduled morning or afternoon flight from Wilson Airport to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival in this magnificent wilderness, your guide will be there to greet you before embarking on a journey across the plains, where you'll encounter your first wildlife sightings en route to camp.

Upon arrival at camp, you'll be welcomed by the camp hosts and provided with a briefing before settling into your tent and freshening up before lunch. Afterward, take some time to relax and absorb the surrounding beauty before setting off on an afternoon game drive in the conservancy until sunset.

During your game drive, you may come across giraffes gracefully nibbling on the highest leaves or elephants leisurely stripping bark from the tastiest trees. As dusk approaches, return to camp for hot showers, followed by an aperitif by the fireside with your hosts and fellow guests, culminating in a delightful dinner.

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise on a balloon safari overlooking the beauty of the Maasai Mara. The verdant plains host a fabulous array of plains game such as gazelles, impala, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and eland. Never far away are the predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena, which our guides are finely tuned to finding. Enjoy a picnic breakfast in the most magnificent outdoor setting on the plains before winding your way back to camp.

After a leisurely al-fresco lunch back at camp, relax, read, watch the resident birdlife or enjoy a siesta in your tent. Afternoon tea is followed by game driving in another area of the conservancy where you may see jackals roaming, warthog bathing or impala jousting. Sundowner drinks are served in a picturesque spot as you watch the sun sink below the horizon. Return to camp to exchange stories around the campfire with the other guests before your mouth watering three course evening meal.

The third day offers the perfect opportunity for a full-day outing to explore the further reaches of the Conservancy or, during the migration season, the Reserve. Breakfast will be served in camp before embarking with your guide into new terrain. On the agenda for today's adventure, you may witness a cheetah stealthily stalk an unsuspecting Thompson gazelle, observe hippos bathing alongside crocodiles in the river, or marvel at a territorial wildebeest asserting dominance over its rivals. Find a shaded spot to enjoy a picnic lunch, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness. In the afternoon, continue traversing the magnificent terrain, witnessing the never-ending interactions on the plains. Your day may culminate in observing the fascinating dynamics of one of our lion prides, with lionesses lounging about, playful cubs, and the males emitting thunderous roars.

You can also decide to spend the afternoon with the Maasai community to have a full experience with nature.

The departure day offers the opportunity to embark on an escorted game walk from camp, guided by our interpretive experts who will unveil the secrets of the wilderness. They'll point out the elusive spoor of a leopard, the intricacies of a rare bird's nest, or signs of recent migration activity that might otherwise go unnoticed. After breakfast back at camp, it's time to bid farewell to the team as they transfer you on your final journey across the plains to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
